When do sellers and volunteers get in to shop on Wednesday, October 9th?
4 PM - Volunteers working 6 hours (6 hour volunteers also get a 15% discount on ALL purchases!)
5 PM - Volunteers working 3 hours (3 hour volunteers also get a 10% discount on ALL purchases!)
6 PM - Consignors
WHAT TO BRING ON YOUR SHOPPING TRIP
PATIENCE AND TIME Try to come early!! There is always a line that forms an hour or two before the sale opens (around 3-4 pm). NO ONE is admitted early, but you don't want to be at the end of the line. The best equipment and clothing goes first! Give yourself enough time to dig through the awesome racks and tables.
KINDNESS Use the golden rule, and treat others like you want to be treated. There will be many,many shoppers! And there will be plenty of great items for everyone.
SHOPPING LIST Know what you need. Go through your kids' current wardrobe the day before the sale. Jot down all sizes or measurements. Don't forget to check shoe sizes too! Children are welcome to come with you, and we do have an area for you to try on, but that's not always fun for you or the kids!
TOTE, LAUNDRY BASKET OR ROLLING CART You will not be able to carry everything in your arms. A great tip is to loop a belt around the handle of a regular basket and pull it behind you.
